Amy Zhang founded Affinity Fund Services LLC with the mission of safeguarding fund managers and investors, fostering the growth of asset management firms, and contributing to the flourishing of the financial industry.
Amy has dedicated her entire professional journey to public accounting firms, having worked with Big Four accounting firms such as PwC and regional accounting firm EisnerAmper before establishing her own hedge fund administration firm, Affinity Fund Services. Her international experience spans the United States, Australia and China, where she has been involved in diverse engagements with a particular focus on hedge funds. As the Managing Member of the Firm, Amy collaborates extensively with auditors, attorneys, prime brokers, and other key service providers, ensuring seamless support for her hedge fund clients.
Amy earned a Master of Science degree in accounting from Boston College and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Sun Yat-sen University. Actively engaged in professional networks, she is a participant in the 100 Women in Hedge Funds and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association. In her previous roles, Amy served as a member of the Finance Committee at the California Society of CPAs and held the position of Board Director at its San Francisco Chapter. As a co-founder of the Financial Entrepreneurs Forum, she took the lead in organizing educational and networking events. Additionally, Amy has contributed to the local community as Vice President and Chair of the Audit Committee at the Children’s Council of San Francisco.
